iTeen Mukonosho School and knowthyself Co., Ltd. are working together to take on the challenge of turning children's curiosity into the ability to seriously learn. We are holding a game tournament for children! Recently, as the number of children playing games has increased rapidly, we are working to increase the number of children who use their curiosity to create games. We are holding game gaming events for elementary and junior high school students using games created using programming by the children of iTeen Mukonosho School.
Also, this initiative has been featured on a news site (PRTIMES).
This time, we collaborated with our local children's cafeteria (School & Dining Squier Osaka Tsukamoto) in Hyogo Prefecture, and jointly held a game tournament. We would like to express our gratitude to the 40 people who gathered on the day.
★Games used at children's game tournaments (e.g. block breaking)
Children create games using characters provided by our company. In the game competition, children from the children's cafeteria and iTeen school students worked in teams of four to play games using computers.
Through games, we provided a place for children to communicate with their peers and allowed them to experience learning through fun play. While playing, several children were amazed and intrigued to discover that the games were developed by their peers using programming skills.
This is part of our efforts to support the dreams of children who are interested in IT and programming, based on our company's philosophy of "combining play and learning." We plan to continue holding these events on a regular basis.
